Services

Compliance & life safety

Recurring checks for every site sit on one calendar, so an inspector or auditor never finds something you did not already know about.

Care homes, child care centres, food facilities, schools and commercial buildings each carry recurring obligations under provincial regulations, the Ontario Fire Code and municipal by-laws. Missing one can mean an order, a failed audit or a closed room.

We build each site’s compliance calendar from its own licence conditions, inspection history and equipment, then do the checks or book the licensed contractor, log the result and track every deficiency until it is closed.

What’s included

  • Lead flushing and sampling under O. Reg. 243/07
  • Playground repairs and annual CSA Z614 inspections
  • Monthly fire extinguisher and emergency lighting checks
  • Fire alarm, sprinkler and suppression inspections (licensed contractors)
  • Backflow prevention testing
  • Kitchen exhaust cleaning on the NFPA 96 schedule
  • Pest control programs with service logs
  • Inspection and audit preparation and follow-up

Questions

About this service

Is this legal advice?

No. We manage the facility side of compliance. Your licence conditions, public health unit and auditors set the requirements, and we build the program to meet them.

Who signs off on inspections?

Inspections that require a certified or licensed person, such as an annual playground inspection or a fire alarm inspection, are done by that qualified contractor. We book them, attend and close out the findings.

We’ll walk them with you, build each site’s maintenance and compliance calendar, and send a written scope with pricing.
